Send the interviewer a handwritten thank you note the next day. It has also become acceptable to email a thank you message to the interviewer. If the interviewer has given you a business card, you may also leave them one follow-up message indicating your interest level and enthusiasm about the position.

You should now in fact be able to relax slightly on the basis that the fundamental principles of interview techniques have not changed to any great extent. It really cannot be stressed enough that a not insignificant part of any interview is simply to find out about the individual applicant's personality, and to determine how they will fit into that specific company.
